Is this the latest tourist phenomenon?
Ah, the joy of Segways. On one hand, they are an extremely useful mode of transportation for tourists to see a city (not to mention lazy commuters). On the other, they are more than slightly embarrassing and have the potential to cause bodily harm (remember when former President Bush fell off of one on vacation?)
That said, there is NO better way to stand out like a sore thumb than riding a Segway around town. You are either a) a tourist or b) a police officer, if you're caught dead riding one.
